My name is Laura Taylor, and I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech, in the Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

My job market paper is on the impacts of legal processes for quantifying and enforcing property rights to water on the health and use of the resource itself. In my broader dissertation work, I investigate financial uncertainty in water markets, historic institutions, bargaining power, and water use relating to American Indian water rights and their (re)appropriation.
